Applicants with interest in the 2021 NNPC recruitment must possess all of the following;
- Five (5) credit grades in WASC/GCE/SSCE including Maths, English, and 3 other relevant subjects obtained in one sitting.
- HND and Bachelor’s Degree (BSC) with a minimum of Second Class Upper in any of the science disciplines listed on the application portal for this offer.
- NYSC Discharge / exemption Certificate.
- Ability to work with basic computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, chrome, and more)

- Select between Graduate Trainees or Experienced Hires depending on which v=category you fall under(we covered the differences earlier on in this article)
For Graduate trainee;
- Applicants should be 28 years or younger at the time of this application.
- Candidates must have completed university education in 2014 or after then.
- Candidates must have completed NYSC. You will be asked to present your discharge certificate from the Nation Youth Service Corps.
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in either of the following categories:
- First Class,
- Second Class upper,
- Second Class lower With a Masters Degree or HND (minimum of Upper Credit) with Masters Degree in required courses.
For Experienced Hires;
”Experienced Hires fall under either the Senior Officer/ Supervisory cadre or Managerial cadre
Senior Officer and Supervisory cadre;
Applicants should:
- Not be more than 34 and 37 years of age respectively as of December 31st, 2018.
- Applicants for this category must possess a minimum of 6 and 9 years’ relevant experience respectively.
- Must have completed NYSC (has an NYSC discharge certificate) or possess NYSC exemption certificate as at when he or she is applying.
Managerial cadre
Applicants for this category should:
- Not be more than 45 years of age as of December 31st, 2018.
- Have a minimum of 18 – 20 years’ relevant experience with, at least 3 – 5 years at managerial/leadership level in an organization of comparative size(an organization as prominent as NNPC).
- Must have completed NYSC (has an NYSC discharge certificate) or possess NYSC exemption certificate as at when he or she is applying.
